There's a profound difference between acting like a character and truly being them. When audiences detect "acting," the magic breaks. But when they forget they're watching a performance - when they're simply witnessing a real person living through real moments - that's when theater becomes transformative.
The difference between a good performance and an unforgettable one often lies not in the big dramatic moments, but in the subtle details that make a character feel truly alive.
