Picture a tightrope walker approaching the final steps of their performance. Despite having already crossed 99% of the wire, these last few steps are just as crucial as the first. One moment of lost focus, one slight deviation, and all the previous success could literally end in a fall. This powerful image serves as a metaphor for leadership, particularly in ministry, where finishing strong is just as important as starting well.
